Tax Reform

When it comes to taxes, almost everyone agrees we need real tax reform and not just the band-aid solutions we have received up to now. After all, these so called reforms has left us with too many quirks, complications, and read tape.

Unfortunately in this author’s opinion, Congress and real tax reform are still light years apart. But all isn’t bleak and the discerning person can take advantage of the laws as they exist through their filing document.

That particular document for most of us is the Form 1040. In order to complete it, we must have as accurate a picture as possible of our financial situation.

Given this is true, we should be able to focus in on any part of our financial status we wish to change. For example, take taxable interest. If a person has to declare a large amount of taxable interest, they can switch from the account generating the taxable interest into an account generating tax free or tax deferred interest.

This kind of information is in plain view on the Form 1040. All a person has to do is see it. Unfortunately some of us can’t see the forest for the trees. Hence, a resource that has already analyzed the Form 1040 would be of great assistance.

Fortunately such a resource exists in the form of an ebook titled, “1040 Goldmine”. Each of the Form 1040’s sections are translated into immediately useable language for the financial planning individual.

This means you can not only use the information to tailor your investments today but plan a retirement that suits your goals and desires. Tax reform may not be a reality in the near future but building a quality retirement plan certainly doesn’t have to be sacrificed for Congress’ lack of will power.

Since you can’t avoid filing taxes, why not make the filing form perform double duty for you. It takes care of your tax obligation while serving as the blue print for your financial planning responsibility.

That is a win-win situation no matter how you look at it.
